No, there won´t be any baptisms here for a bit. I´ll leave before anything happens.
I haven´t mailed the letter, though I should be able to get it out this week.
Ooh, harsh rules for the library. That´ll kill the spirit of the poor children. Think of the children.
I really try not to spend any money. When my church card died I had to use it to buy some tickets and groceries, but apart from that there´s really nothing to pick up. So I should be good.
Yeah, you have to exchange money here, and they just charge a higher rate for their fee. While the actual rate might be 1.44, they´ll charge 1.53 instead.
That hymn doesn´t exist in Spanish. And apart from listening to the Tabernacle Choir, I haven´t heard an organ since I left the US.
Yeah, fluffy seminary classes wouldn´t be that much fun. Or getting up early, for that matter.
Well, the week was interesting, to say the least. Wednesday we had to go to Barcelona to look for a dentist, because my companion´s got a nice cavity in a molar. At least we didn´t have to pay for the trip, because it was useless. We´ve got to go back this Wednesday again.
While we were there some weirdies from Utah came up. ¨Oh, we´re like neighbors!¨...I thought ¨yeah, but not by choice.¨ Silly people. They actually weren´t that friendly.
Friday, the office finally got things together for the contracts, so we ran into Barcelona again to pick them up...and then the owners of the building said they´d only take the security deposit in cash (about $2,000 worth) or cashier´s check. The office wouldn´t give me either. So we went up to Vic, met with them and the realtor, then spent an an hour and a half arguing over every single clause in a six page contract, then they finally signed. I had a massive headache after all of that. They´re friendly enough people, but they´re old, so they´re terrified of getting ripped off, of course.
But we don´t have keys, because they can´t turn them over until they have their deposit, and that´ll probably be in on the 10th of August. It works out, because transfers are before that, so I won´t have to make a pointless move of one week or less.
Today we´ve got the Bob Bodily Memorial Invitational planned. (Bodily was a nutcase who served here in Granollers, who was famous for his ping pong addiction). So the whole district is coming in to play ping pong and have a good time.
This week, I´ll probably be going to Gerona for an exchange. I think I´ll be going with Elder Dalton again, for one last time. He´s up for a transfer too.
I am wearing my American flag shirt today. I felt like being a little irritating to some people.
As for the package...my music...need more...plz..... Just one album, an older one, ¨Come, Come Ye Saints.¨ Probably be able to get it for a few dollars off of Amazon. If not, no problem.
Well, I hope you all have a good week.
Bradley.
