Helaman 5:12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the arock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your bfoundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty cstorm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

7/4/11

Heh, Mountain Dew doesn´t exist here. Down in Alicante there´s rumors that you could find it, but not here up north. So far.

The zone had planned a 4th of July barbecue in Barcelona at the stake center today, but someone canned that idea last night. We still haven´t found out why, just had a text from the AP´s saying ¨Party cancelled. If you still want to get together, you can meet up at the Hard Rock in Plaza Catalunya. Heh..yeah, not. I´ll have to see what happened tomorrow at the meeting we´ll have to attend in Barcelona. But I´ll be home for next year, so I´ll celebrate it better then.

Basically I got out of the ticket because since I didn´t have 25 euros to pay him, he just ripped it up, because he couldn´t pocket that cash. We actually saw him on the train again thursday and he was about the same, except he didn´t have any way to write us another ticket.

Well, that was from Bilbao, and that province wants independence from Spain, just like Catalunya does. Spain is essentially a failing country, but some parts are hanging on a little better. Because of that, the rest of Spain is sucking what´s left out of the parts that are still semi-healthy. So now those provinces want out of the deal (it doesn´t help that at one point they were separate countries). For example, in Catalunya, they have to pay high taxes to the Spanish government, then they only get back a fourth of what they pay to manage affairs here. The rest is ´fairly´ redistributed to ´help´ the parts who are struggling. In essence, it doesn´t work, so no one is happy. Spain´s a good example of what would happen if Obama were to get his way. Greece is another good example.

Yeah, I got my card back the next week. Well, a new one. Hopefully it doesn´t happen again.

Binner and her temper. ¨I don´t care much for redheads. Terrible temper. But somehow it seems to suit you.¨(spoken with Scottish accent)

Yeah, people always complain. It´s what we do.

I could use some more foot powder and some more baby powder, actually. I don´t need the conference issue, though.

So the week was interesting. Numbers wise, it was the best we´d had in four weeks.

We´re working on getting the new apartment. They´re dealing with the contracts finally now, so I hope there won´t be any problems. If we get it...it has a dishwasher. A Bosch dishwasher. And I´ll probably be in it a maximum of four and a half weeks...lol. Pack, unpack, pack again, unpack again.

I´m planning on making the AP´s drive up and haul the stuff to Vic, so it´s not days worth of train trips. That should be easier than ever now that Allphin got the promotion to AP last week, so I´ll just blackmail him into doing it. I´m pretty sure President would give the okay anyway-we´re the first new area the mission´s opened up in years.

The weather´s been shifty this week. Hot, then cool, then humid, then hot again. I miss the desert. At least it´s consistant.

I´ll see if I can´t fabricate a few stories to send home next week. I was going to send a few pictures, but...yeah, you can guess. It doesn´t work.

Love,

Bradley.
